What is your average day like:‍

I normally rise early, so opening the curtains to a sunny day with a clear blue sky always starts the day well for me. We have two teenagers, so weekends can be a slow start—I'll often read a book or watch a Netflix series before the day gets going. After that, I’d go paddleboarding or walk along the Jurassic Coast with my wife. In the evening, I enjoy cooking (although I’m not claiming to be any good at it!), so a perfect end to the day would be a homemade paella and a glass of wine with family and friends.

What do you like most about your job?

That’s simple—helping people build a coordinated plan for their retirement or financial goals. I enjoy showing clients how to make the most of their assets to create a secure financial future. Whether it’s a younger couple unsure what to do with the wealth they’ve built or someone approaching retirement with multiple pensions, everyone should have a plan.

How long have you worked in Financial Services

I started my career at Sun Life in the pensions department in 1996, so I’ve been in financial services for nearly 30 years. I became a financial adviser in 2005 and haven’t looked back since.
